My Top 5 Essentials To Stay Beautiful & Healthy While Traveling.

We all want to feel and look glamourous when we travel,  but let’s be real.  It takes alot of effort on our part to stay healthy and look our best when walking through the concourse and greeting our passengers onboard.  As flight attendants we work very long hours and by the end of the day we can look like we haven’t slept in days.  Below are my top 5 Essentials to stay beautiful while traveling throughout the day.

      1. Facial Spray

I absolutely love having a facial spray to midst my face in between flights.  It awakens my skin and rejuvenates my mood.  Smelling the aroma of rosewater with soothing calming effects of aloe gives your skin an amazing boost of moisture.  Ulta and Sephora have perfect travel size bottles that fit right in your purse.  Some as low as $5. I also love to use a facial spray after I cleanse my skin and follow with a serum.  This leads me to my next beauty essential.

      2.  Hydrating Serum

Our skin is the largest organ on our bodies.  We have to take very good care of it to be able to maintain our youthful appearance.  It is super important to keep the skin hydrated when you are contantly flying.  If not,  it may become dull and appear tired.  A serum penetrates deep into the skin to help smooth lines and gives the skin a refreshed appearance.  It serves as a powerhouse of your skincare routine.  There are several options to choose from when finding a serum.  If you don’t want to spend a lot,  a good drug store brand will do the trick.

     3.  The V Cosmetics Liquid Velvet Lipstick

“Give a girl the right lipstick and she can conquer the world”  Now this is so true.  Don’t we always feel great when we have the perfect lipcolor.  I love The V Cosmetics liquid matte collection. The velvet creamy liquid lipstick dries to a matte finish and does not feather.  It stays on all day without drying on the lips.  The colors have a beautiful pigment that is sure to get amazing compliments.

     4.  Portable humidifier/diffuser

This has been the most amazing way to still add moisture to the air when you are in your hotel room after a long days work.  The air in the airplane can be very drying to the skin.   I especially love the ones that are also a diffuser so I can add my essential oils.  After a long day of working adding a little lavender does the trick before bed.  I also love the smell of peppermint essential oils to start my day.  The scent is invigorating.  Anything to help you relax and maintain self care is essential.  Amazon has several that are not expensive and can also be used in your car.

    5.  Filtered Water Bottle

Drinking water may seem simple, but it can be hard for some people to maintain the proper amount of water per day.  I have found having a filtered water bottle helps to achieve water intake while traveling.  Our bodies can quickly dehydrate when you are constantly in the air.  Purchasing water can be very expensive.  Airports are making it easier to achieve water goals by installing the refilling stations throughout the airport.  Your skin needs it constantly to maintain a healthy glow.
